Response to design brief for Tractor Poster Competition for Semi Permanent. Theme is to communicate “Speaking to the individual” .
Hand lettered, drawn in illustrator and treated in photoshop.
Inquisitive by nature, we as humans will never have all the answers. There will always be an air of mystery about the world around us, as well as a fascination and curiosity that can never be fully satisfied.
My design was made with the intention to directly and literally speak to the viewer of the poster; something that could communicate a message that would resonate within any individual. Purposefully elusive, the poster was designed to awaken curiosity and to challenge the viewer to question it and themselves. What is there to realise? One poster, one question, unlimited individual ways to answer it.
This is a character design I worked on this weekend for a short animation piece to put in my show reel. His name is Satchimo.
Mystical Totem Pole.
Hello miss :) Yes yes I have been following your work for some time now! I believe I did a trade of works with you a couple of months ago just before you made the move down to sydney. Glad to see you have settled in! I will definitely come down to your show, looking forward to it heaps :) xx

I feel ya Ira. I feel ya.

First finished drawing for the year. It appears that my colour obsession has led me to pinks, pastels and mint green. I am obsessed.
